Reeve - Kelly McMechan
Reeve Kelly McMechan was born and raised on the family farm within the Deloraine area. He attended school and played all his sports in the Deloraine community.
Later in life, his wife Jo-Anne and he raised their 3 children, Megan Vandenberghe, Ashley Hammond, and Dillon McMechan on the same family farm, and they attended school in Deloraine
Kelly is currently employed with Shared Health, as Manager Health Services – EMS Operations, West Zone, Emergency Response Services. So he is a strong voice to support our health care in Deloraine.
His children have all grown and have small children of their own, so Jo-Anne and Kelly enjoy being able to follow the grandchildren around watching them play sports, or enjoy their interests.
Deloraine has treated them very well, he feels he has a lot of interest in this community, being able to go out to the community hall, curling club, arena, and soon to be swimming pool.
The Municipality is a large part of their lives also, the local golf course, and reservoir which provides water to the Community, as well as a fishing hole that Kelly and his grandchildren enjoy.
Their family has a lot at Lake Metigoshe and they really enjoy our summers and some winter activity there.
He is a member of the Snowman snowmobile club and enjoys riding the groomed trails in the area.
All in all, he can’t imagine living anywhere else, and that is why chose to become your Head of Council.

Ward 4 (Deputy Reeve) - Councilor Debbie Adams
Debbie was born and raised in this municipality, she and her husband raised their family in this community.
In Debbie’s municipal career, she was an employee for 23 years, Chief Administrative Officer for 8 years with the town and 1 year with the Amalgamated Municipality.
She has been involved and volunteered with many organizations, such as the Chamber of Commerce, Minor Hockey, Lionelles, Figure skating Club to mention but a few.
