Ensure the lot you are interested in are still available for purchase. You may confirm through the Municipal website at www.delowin.ca or by calling the Amanda Burger, Community and Economic Development Coordinator at 204-747-3668 or by email at email@example.com.
Submit your offer to purchase in writing indicating the roll number and civic address to the Municipal Office at 129 Broadway Street North, Deloraine MB. All envelopes are to be clearly labeled “VACANT LOT PURCHASE”. In addition offers will be accepted via mail to PO Box 387, Deloraine, MB R0M 0M0, emailed to the firstname.lastname@example.org or by facsimile to 204-747-2927. Please be sure to include your contact information including name, address, telephone number and email address. The Municipality accepts no responsibility for misdirected, unreadable or incomplete transmissions. It is the responsibility of the purchaser to ensure the offer has been received by the Municipal Office.
All offers must be accepted by the Municipality of Deloraine-Winchester Council at a regular meeting of Council, please contact the Municipal Office for the next meeting date. The Municipality of Deloraine-Winchester may accept, reject or counter any offer.
Pending acceptance all lots will require a deposit of $1000.00 and are eligible to qualify for the development rebate in the amount of $999.00.
To qualify for the rebate, development must be completed within 15 months (residential) or 24 months (commercial) from the closing date of sale. This rebate will only be obtained once the purchaser notifies the Municipal office in writing prior to closing on the date set of completion.
As the purchaser of the lot you will be responsible not only for your own legal fees but the legal fees of the Municipality of Deloraine-Winchester, surveying fees and /or utility connections. If the lot is unserviced the purchaser will be responsible all utility installations from the curb stop.
All proper zoning and building permits must be obtained and ad heard to.
